From one Paradise Island to another!
I’m now on my flight back to Malta after two weeks in Asia. I still haven’t melted all impressions from Singapore and Bali yet. Such wonderful places and the people in general there are just amazing! Always kind, gentile and smileing at you wherever you go. Food is outstanding and the environment is wonderful.
It was a trip with good friends with lots of new food and culture experiences.
Our lovely friends Lynnette, Soo and Timothy who lives in Singapore showed us some of the very best places in town.
I feel so fortunate and greatful to have seen some of the best parts of this small but wonderful and clean country.
We spent 6 days in Singapore, 2 days on the Island Batam and 5 days in Seminyak, Bali.
Here are some pics from Singapore:
We made a 2 day trip to an Island outside Singapore, Batam and checked in at a SPA hotel and combined SPA treatmemts with wonderful food there. We had lunch at a wonderful restaurant called xxxx located in a charming fishing village where you got to chose your own shellfish in the sea. They prepared it with amazing spices and 20min later it was on the plate. You have lunch 1 meter from the sea with a breath taking view. I’ve been to hundereds of different restaurants the last years but this one is one of the very best! I give ot 5 out of 5 camels. That restaurant was a great experience and a must if you ever travel to Singapore/Batam!
We stayed at hotel Pullman Legian in Bali. A charming hotell with lovely breakfasts. This hotel is located pretty close to Semniyak which is the best place to stay in if you visit Bali.
We had a wonderful taxi driver in Bali who showed us some of the goldmines there.
His name is Arriss and he took us to some of the best places in South Bali. If you are in South Bali and look for a driver, contact him. A taxi for a day cost 60 USD per day and he was just outstanding. We made a day trip to Ubud and saw rice and coffee fields. Only one word, WOW. We had coffee and tea time on a terrace with view over the beautiful rice field. Just amazing. Same day we also visited The Monkey Forest in Ubud.
I wanted to bring one home in my hand bag. These litte crabats are so adorable and cute! At least until they steal your two weeks old Samsung Galaxy phone and throw it down a cliff…
These 2 places is a must and I strongly recommend you to make a day trip to if you are in Bali!
We also continued our Prop bet World Tour and I won a camel race on the beach, as well as Jetskiing in cristal clear water in a beach in Nusa Dua. We made a day trip to xxx and made Megazip Zipline which was very exciting and fun. I didn’t win a Luge Mario cart race but was still a blast ;).
We ate loads of local food and it’s so goood!
We went shopping in a silver store where they sell beautiful hand made jewellrys alked to a wonderful lady we met in a little village in Ubud and got invited to see how they live and hear about their daily life. Intresting to see how most homes have their own private temple.
We saw temples and statues in xxx and saw a very special Balinese show up on the cliffs while watching the sunset.
We finished the day at restaurant that is amazing is called xxxx. You eat fresh shellfish and fish down at a wonderful beach while accompanied with accustic live music at your table. If you are looking for a place to spend a honey moon at… this is it.
We also visited some wonderful beaches. Nusa Dua was my favourite. I love natural beauty
But be prepared that you will see some hilarious signs and culture shocks.
If you haven’t been to Singapore and Bali i strongly recommend you to book a trip there NOW! (feel free to send me a private msg if you are going there and want any advice)
