Eureka Main Event Prague
Poker is definitely not dead! 949 players entered Day 1b in Eureka Prague Main Event. If you add those 949 to the 366 who played Day 1a, you get 1,315 and the largest ever field assembled for a poker tournament in Prague.
I was playing patiently the whole day and grinded my way up to 28K ( starting stack 20k) then lost some pots down to 16K. You can’t win a tournament Day 1 but you can lose it so I had decided to wait for the right spot to come. It did, when I picked up AA and was all in preflop against AK. When he sucked out with a flush I had to leave the tournament yesterday evening, instead of chipping up to a comfortable 34K stack well above average.
I save my luck for EPT ME which, for me, will start on Friday with Day 1b.
